I studied at Trinity College of Music and the Britten-Pears School for Advanced Musical Studies and was the recipient of multiple scholarships. I've performed at venues such as the Grange Park and Aldeburgh Festivals, the Wigmore Hall in London and I've toured Europe and the USA.
I found that friends and family turned to me for advice on music for special events, particularly weddings and although I've retired from full-time performing I've focused increasingly on advising at these events.
In 2014 I arranged my own wedding, so I fully appreciate how much the couple need to organise and how useful the right kind of expert advice can be. Music was a central theme at our winter wedding and like most brides I wanted something unique to our special day. I chose 'Winter' from Vivaldi's Four Seasons to walk down the aisle to, we had a beautiful Handel aria during the signing of the register as no religious music was allowed and then during the champagne reception we changed to a more fun and light-hearted mood before the band started in the evening.
